What remains between two people?

“What Remains Between Us” is a short film exploring friendship, memory and the quiet bond that continues after a moment has passed.

At the end of the film, a MAIKO NAGAYAMA ring appears not simply as jewellery, but as a memory. Something small enough to wear, and strong enough to hold feeling.

The Fate Ring, an award-winning design, captures this quiet truth.

Hand-carved from golden citrine and 18ct rose gold, its heart reveals two white topaz stones, visible only through the citrine’s glow.
Two forces, bound together. Sometimes in harmony, sometimes in tension, yet impossible to separate.

Because destiny is not always about crossing paths with someone else.
Sometimes, it’s about meeting the deepest part of yourself — and learning to live together.

The story continues with the Fate Necklace, a companion piece that carries the same spirit of duality and destiny, worn close to the heart.

It began with a message on Friday✨
By afternoon, we were in The Ritz London, unlocking our showcase just for her✨
She tried the ring✨
It caught the light… and her heart💖

This ring is about moments — fleeting, precious, impossible to repeat.
For the one who collects not just jewellery, but memories to wear close.

When you see it, you feel it.
And once you feel it, it stays.

The size wasn’t quite hers — yet.
With only two days before her return to the USA, I carried the ring back to the workshop.
By Sunday, it was resized, polished, and placed in her hands — ready to travel the world with her.

Some pieces arrive exactly when the timing is perfect.
And when they do, I ensure nothing stands between you and the moment it becomes yours.
