✨ From a block of wax to a future piece of jewellery… ✨

Yesterday I had the pleasure of welcoming and to my Cornwall studio for a very special Introduction Gemstone Ring Workshop for Two

They stepped into the ancient world of lost wax carving and discovered how to transform an idea into a wearable design — learning how to carve wax, build a ring band, and create a gemstone setting ready to be cast into precious metal.

I was so impressed with their dedication, creativity, and the beautiful finished rings they created. Seeing their excitement as their designs came to life was truly rewarding. ✨

You don’t need to be a jeweller or have any previous experience — this workshop is open to everyone who wants to explore a traditional jewellery-making technique, learn new skills, and create something completely unique with their own hands.

There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing your work featured in print.

A compact skull pendant hand carved in wax and cast in sterling silver using the traditional lost wax technique. Despite its small scale, the piece is highly detailed, designed to reward close inspection. The pendant slides freely along the chain, moving naturally with the body.

A bold alternative to traditional earrings, these handcrafted ear cuffs are made in 925 sterling silver using the lost wax casting process.

Designed with no posts or clips, they comfortably hug the ear, making them perfect for those without pierced ears who still want to enjoy distinctive jewellery.

With a total weight of 18.3 grams, these cuffs have a substantial presence while maintaining balance and wearability. Their satin effect finish adds a soft, matte texture, enhancing the sculptural quality of the design.

A moment of pride ✨

My sculptural sterling silver creations have been featured in Artells Magazine — including my Dynamic Ring with matching Bangle, and my Conchiglia Cuff Earrings.

Each piece is individually crafted using the lost wax technique, where raw ideas are carved into wax before becoming wearable pieces of art in silver.

Jewellery made slowly, by hand, with over 30 years of passion behind every detail.
