* WELLBEING WALK CANCELLED *

Hi all. We have taken the decision to cancel the Wellbeing Walkies set for 10am this morning. It’s already very warm out there and there is very little breeze. This is a ‘wellbeing’ walk and the wellbeing of the dogs is our top priority. By 10/11am it would be very warm. Sorry for the short notice. We hope you all understand. If we can arrange another date, we will let you all know.

What a successful morning we had today at Happy Paws 🧡🐾

First, a massive thank you to Gloria for examining the Royal Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Awards for our members 🏆

Also, a big thanks to our Committee Members who attended and helped ensure everything ran smoothly ✅

Huge congratulations to Naomi & Music for passing the Silver Award 🥈
This is a fantastic achievement, and we’re all incredibly proud of you! 🌟

To those who didn’t pass their Silver & Gold award this time, please don’t be disheartened. You and your dogs still did brilliantly, and your progress is clear to see. Keep up the great work, your time will come !! ✨

We will see you in our Gold class tomorrow at 8pm 😊🐾

Congratulations 🥳 tonight also go to Danielle with Chess, Karen with Frida, Ally with Honey and Kevin with Maggie who all got a PASS in their Royal Kennel Club BRONZE Good Citizen Awards tonight at Broads Equestrian Centre. Awesome work you four and we will see you at 8pm next time working towards your SILVER. Those that didn’t pass. Don’t be downhearted. It just means you aren’t quite ready. Keep working hard & next time it could be you! ❤️🐾🐾

Congratulations tonight to Lisa with Benji who passed their Royal Kennel Club Puppy Foundation tonight at Broads Equestrian Centre and also Rae with Dottie who passed their Pre-Bronze. Great work both of you. Your training journey continues next Monday at 7pm, working towards gaining your Royal Kennel Club Bronze Good Citizen Award ❤️

Tonight, our ‘Paws’ hit the pavement once again as we had our ‘Street Meet, Greet & Treat’ session in our lovely local neighbourhood – visiting the beautiful Carlton Meadow Park! 🌳🐕

We had a fantastic evening working on a wide range of dog obedience exercises, all designed to support our participants who are preparing for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Awards, coming up this month🏅👏

From walking to heel and controlled greetings, to recall and calm focus around distractions, our four-legged friends (and their brilliant handlers) showed fantastic progress and enthusiasm throughout.

Sessions like these are a great reminder that you don’t need to go far to find the perfect training ground, exploring your own doorstep can provide new smells, sights, and challenges, giving your dog the mental stimulation they need to stay balanced and happy 🧠🐾

A huge thank you to all our dedicated members who joined us tonight, your commitment and teamwork make these sessions so rewarding 🧡

Good luck to our members who are taking part in the upcoming KC Awards! 🍀🏆

🌼🐾 Bank Holiday Reminder! 🐾🌼

Just a little heads-up that the club will be closed this Monday as it is a Bank Holiday! We hope you all enjoy a well-deserved long weekend. ☀️

We will be back open and ready to see all your lovely faces and wagging tails on Monday 11th May.

In the meantime, we would love to see how you and your pups are spending the Bank Holiday! 🐶💛
Whether it’s muddy walks, beach zoomies, sofa snuggles, or cheeky adventures, please feel free to share your photos and stories in the comments!
