A beautiful commission with a very special story behind it…

Using my customer’s old engagement ring, eternity ring and a single earring, I was able to reuse the original gold, rubies and diamonds to create something completely new while staying true to the design of her original engagement ring.

The original pieces were worn, damaged and no longer being enjoyed, but the sentimental value remained. By remodelling them into a new ring, those precious memories can now be worn and treasured every day once again.

My customer collected her ring today and was absolutely thrilled with the result. Seeing the joy on someone’s face when they are reunited with their treasured stones in a new design is one of the best parts of my job.

And I’ve been promised that this one won’t be worn while gardening!

A little behind the scenes from the jeweller’s bench…

These are my gravers, I use these to create beautiful stone settings in jewellery. They’re incredibly sharp and work like tiny chisels, allowing me to carefully carve into the metal to create intricate settings by hand.

This technique works particularly beautifully with diamonds and engagement rings, creating elegant engraved settings that really allow the stone to shine.

Like any skilled craft, it takes plenty of practice to keep those techniques sharp and ensure every finished piece is crafted to the highest standard. Before I work on a final piece, there are many hours spent refining and maintaining these skills behind the scenes.

It’s one of the many details that goes into creating jewellery that is truly handmade and unique.

Wow… I can’t quite believe it’s been over a week since I was published as a Local Legend in Suffolk Magazine ✨

I’m honestly so grateful for the lovely feature and support.

Making jewellery started as a hobby for me and somehow turned into a business that I truly love and adore every single day. My happy place will always be being in my atelier, keeping my hands busy creating beautiful pieces and bonus points if I’m playing around with gemstones, diamonds and making pretty jewellery 💎

Each piece is lovingly handmade using recycled sterling silver and 9ct gold, crafted using traditional silversmithing and goldsmithing techniques here in my Stowmarket atelier. No mass production, no factory outsourcing… just carefully handcrafted jewellery made to last.

Have you always wanted to learn how to make your own silver jewellery?

Join us for a beautiful six-week evening course where you’ll learn traditional silversmithing techniques in a small, relaxed group. Perfect for complete beginners, this course will guide you through cutting, shaping, soldering, polishing and stone setting while creating your own handcrafted jewellery pieces each week.

Over the six weeks you’ll create:
✨ Hammered Earrings
✨ Textured Stacking Rings
✨ Chain Bracelet
✨ Pierced Pendant
✨ Cuff Bangle with a Cabochon Set Stone
✨ Plus a final freestyle/finishing session

All tools and equipment are provided just bring your creativity (and glasses if you need them!).
