I always wanted to ride an Elephant . I was in Chiang Mai twenty years ago and I finally got the chance . I was planning to do a five day trek through the jungle. Thankfully, I did a three hour test drive . It was incredibly uncomfortable ; but the Elephant was divine. I cancelled the trek ; but made an elephant bracelet when I got back to London !

Chiang has been with us ever since, he is part of the family .

Designing jewellery with a large surface area is a breeze . However, when you are trying to create something exciting in a very small space ; not so easy ! Stud earrings are a good example . The most popular earring style in the world is the biggest challenge .
