Kisses πŸ₯°

A gorgeous gift from a very thoughtful dad. It was lovely to add a pop of colour to the bumble bees, bringing them to life.

Cadbury Mini Egg vibes all over these cuties πŸ₯šπŸ’πŸͺΊπŸŒΈ
The first pink diamond I've had the pleasure of working with and frankly handing it over again was a wrench! Paired with a chocolate diamond it was a SWEET coupling for sure.

Playing around with these gorgeous hammered textures and contrasting gold settings, they bring out the warm springy tones of the stones ready for two Spring ladies to wear.

Ive added the chocolate diamond option to my shop as my birthstone dot rings have been so popular - you can't have too much choice!

Getting out each morning I see so many inspiring things. The thing with creativity is that it needs fuel and a touch of serendipity!

By chance a four leaf clover stopped me in my tracks, I became obsessed with the chance of finding another...a smaller one..I want to make something...

I immediately moulded it, another obsession of mine. Finding ways to capture something fleeting and precious. Perhaps inspired by fingerprints of loved ones, the imprint of something passing.

But my compound was off...it stuck. Ruined?! No! We try again! Different method, mixing knowlege in to find a solution. This trial and error approach is fundamental to making. Not everything works first time, its how you wiggle around the problem that often ignites a bigger fire than that original spark of an idea.

Im interested in creating textures and impressions to find something that is much more original than a straight copy.

Wait for results to emerge...

And yes...I found an entire bunch...some of them even had 5 leaves and more!

Unbelievable scenes here on International Womens Day, a dance show that had us transfixed with wonder. Girls and boys shining so bright we should have had sunglasses.

And for me the flip reverse of years being the one with the butterflies in my tummy, they're still there but with excitement and sympathy for my littlest bean.
She may speak with a little voice but she has SO much to say to the world.

Had it not been for the very same dance teachers this little bean would have remained shy too. Im so glad my own mum valued music, dance and the arts and building my voice in the middle of it all.

What better way to express 'behind the scenes' than this, the little token I made for my girls 1st dance show on a real and very big stage. A charm to add to her collection of things I hope for her to remember.
Raising up the women of the future to feel confident in their own skin and happy to do what makes them feel most alive πŸ’ƒπŸΌ

Starting strong with this years
If you don't know me already I hope you'll get a strong flavour of me and my jewellery.

When you find me out and about - I hope you get that warm feeling of excitement that you get finding treasure on a beach. Something that piques your interest and tickles the inner magpie. The perfect piece to express the love you have for that special someone. The feeling that your story has been heard. And you can now carry a little something special with you.

I hope you'll think of me when you'd like something unique, a little marker along the way - something shiny to adore 🀍

2016 ✨️ was our year baby!!

Couldn't really resist hopping back on the grid with this charming little trend. Nothing like hopping back 10 years to gather some perspective.

Not least to look in rear view at the price of silver....wowee we were living the dream!

2016 saw an Amy with nerves of steel flying down black runs (alright..black run!) and preparing for the biggest adventure yet. Creating a home spun wedding with all our favourite people, damson gin, great music and so many scones I went right off baking.

Renovations...still ongoing. Thankfully part of the first wave was a big girl jewellery bench. Up til this point Id been working hunched over the washing machine and in the workshop of the wonderful
gaining invaluable experience.

I was also working at selling jewellery polishing tools to the trade, which took me into the heavily guarded underbelly of Hatton Garden and Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter. It was SO exciting to see our big suppliers from the inside and benches upon benches of talented jewellers and all their tools 🀀 so much has changed in the trade in those 10 years.

By the end of the 2016 we were also awaiting the next big game changer, little Wally 1. Not sure we had a clue how that would shake things up!! These days I fantasise about that tropical day bed and a good book..

But that contrast silk and bead combo, that's something that has had a recent revival. One to revisit for sure! I do LOVE a bit of colour 🌈

Hope you start the shiny new year with a little wonder, warmth and wellness.

I'm leaning into the cosyness of a decorated home, good food and rest. We've run full speed through the year and I'm not in any rush to wish the preciousness away.

What could be better than time to talk, wearing sparkles and tortoises at the table. Grinch coloured baths, New Forest trots, christmas cake for days and slow breakfasts.

The traditional panto tonight and home to a goose no less. But just in case I thought it couldn't get any better, fire lit..peace and Ronan Keating seeing in the New Year....excellent!
Go steady friends... enjoy the journey!
