Good Afternoon to you....

It's been a while....and just packing up hibernation mode now that the brighter weather is looming....we hope....
And what better way to step into a fresh start than by making some new gemstone bracelets!....the orange 'Earth' bracelet is here with beautiful star-cut carnelians ....and then a 'Cherryblossom' bracelet with rich pinks and faceted tourmaline....then 'Ocean Rocks'...because we love blues and textures...
My next event is a Mother's Day marketing Tockwith, near York....see below....

A warm Evening to you...on this dark night....its all hands to deck here at RFJ getting ready for 2 events coming up....and some fresh new jewels will be there!
Thirsk RURAL ARTS centre is holding a Christmas Makers market over Friday and Saturday this weekend...but firstly I will be trading in York at Bluebird Bakery Acomb Festive Market tomorrow evening...5-9pm...great mince pies and wine avaliable!...see you there!

Greetings all...the artist in my recent post is Sarah Westwood Illustrator who creates colourful artwork with a touch of humour and we will be sharing an art space on the weekend of Friday 12th September at Staithes Festival of Arts & Heritage ....come and see us at Pelican House on the main street....
Meanwhile the RFJ bench has been busy...here are some robust solid thumb rings... just created...along with jet and silver pebblestack earrings..hand drawn cards and...more in the making!

Sarah Westwood is an illustrator based on the Yorkshire coast, known for her fun and colourful illustrations of Sprocket the Dog. Celebrating ten years of Sprocket’s adventures, Sarah’s has a collection of prints, placemats, mugs, coasters, magnets and textiles. She shares her creative journey through workshops and products that celebrate dogs, art, adventures, and storytelling. Sarah is also a recent winner Of Small Business Sunday with Theo Paphitas, she is now a part of his 1% club.

Sarah Westwood Illustrator will be in Pelican House throughout the festival weekend.

Hi there...preparing for Staithes Art Festival ..here I am!

𝗝𝗲𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝘆, 𝗥𝗮𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗻
Rae is a silver jewellery maker based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire. She trained in New Zealand, gaining a Silver Jewellery Techniques certificate and started business in 2006. Rae uses recycled silver, local jet ,precious gem beads, pearls and seaglass in her work to make earrings, earcuffs and earclimbers, rings, bracelets, bangles and chains using handmade links. Her work shows great attention to detail often including small features with a quirky twist. She is inspired by textures, nature and plants and the Yorkshire landscape and coast. She was a former member of Staithes Arts and Crafts group in the village.

You'll find Rae Fin Jewellery in Pelican House, High Street throughout the festival.

Just completing some handmade gift bags here to compliment RF jewellery...love this eco friendly paper with flax twine..every jewellery piece comes with a box,pouch or bag so that the wrapping bit is done for you.

A joyous Sunday to you readers of Rae Fin Jewellery!
Just highlighting this fun coastal pendant..Dancing Seas...a triple moving rings pendant of fish and waves..all handmade at my bench ...this is on a 16" chain...and has a happy ti**le when worn!
Also just polished a pair of simple functional silver dot earstuds..love these..so practical and great for sport or with smart work attire..or in 2nd or 3rd ear piercing...

And finally..new packaging for the gem bracelets..fine black pouches, UK made from recyclable ethically sourced black card.
