A sky-blue dial, cloud detailing, and signature Haggis Works yellow accents bring a little sunshine to this latest special project.

Turn the watch over to discover the exhibition caseback, featuring a cloud-filled scene with an aircraft soaring above the Pacific.

Designed with character, assembled in-house at our Marloe Watch Company workshop, and finished with the peculiar details that make Haggis Works what it is.

Sunny has arrived.

The peculiar occurrences at Marloe HQ are becoming the norm. Olly has been indoctrinated and is ready to ship out the latest Haggis Works creation: Sunny.

Inspired by the Aerodyne's muse, Amelia Earhart, Sunny takes its cues from the skies above Howland Island — the remote Pacific outpost she set out to reach, but never did.

Look a little closer, and you'll find the clouds of that distant island on the exhibition caseback, with her faithful aircraft soaring onwards.

A little aviation history. A little Haggis mischief. And the craftsmanship of Marloe, with every watch assembled in-house at our Oxfordshire workshop.

In this episode of Between the Lugs: Diary of a Small Business, Greg puts Oliver in the hot seat for a wide-ranging interrogation covering everything from his choice of l***r in his younger years and his motoring history to the future of Marloe Watch Company.

Could some of Marloe’s past watches make a comeback? What would Olly change about the business? And which questionable decisions still haunt him to this day?

We start with the easy questions, lull him into a false sense of security, and then get into the stuff that might make things a little uncomfortable.

In a first for Marloe Watch Company, Haggis Works agreed to an interview.

There were, naturally, conditions.

After working hours. Their own crew. Their own equipment. And complete creative control.
We agreed. We thought this would be straightforward.

Sunny has been difficult to direct, refuses to answer questions, and appears to have mistaken the interview for a photoshoot.

We may need to revisit our media policy.

Haggis Works. Very professional. Apparently.

Sunny isn't done flying when the sun goes down.

Clouds are nice. The sky is nice. But flying in the dark? Not so easy. So Sunny made sure they could keep going after the light goes away.

The hands and indices glow with BGW9 Super-LumiNova, outlined in dark teal — ready to light up when the sky gets dark.

Sunny can see clearly now. Probably...

No More Waiting. Sunny Launches "..--- ..--- / --- -.-. - --- -... . .-. / ..--- ----- ..--- -...."

In 1937, Amelia Earhart and her navigator, Fred Noonan, set out to fly around the world. Their destination was Howland Island, a tiny speck in the Pacific. They never arrived.

Amelia Earhart never made it to Howland Island. But her spirit of adventure lives on, inspiring generations to explore, dream big and see where the journey takes them.

Sunny is Haggis Works’ own little tribute to that spirit.

Built around our Aerodyne, Sunny features a customised dial inspired by the clouds around Howland Island, a bespoke rotor celebrating that final journey, and an exhibition caseback revealing the details within. Naturally, there are a few unmistakable Haggis touches hidden along the way.

Sunny likes to hide little surprises in the next Haggis Works creation.

The customised date disc? Very important. A little Haggis appears on the 25th of every month, in honour of Burns Night.

And just like Pinky, Sunny has more than one Haggis secret for the eagle-eyed to find.

The instructions were unusual. The delivery was unexpected. And now, Sunny has arrived.

We suspect Haggis Works is responsible.

They have a habit of interfering with our work, leaving strange instructions, and generally doing things their own way. We’re not entirely sure what happens next.

But we’ve been told to keep our eyes on the skies.
