🌷 Why do small makers move away from Etsy? 🌷

Yesterday on my stories I shared a little behind the scenes truth, Etsy takes a surprisingly big cut of every sale - I lost almost £20 on a £58 order! For makers like me, that reallyyy adds up.

So today, I want to show you exactly what you’re supporting when you shop small, but direct!

These mini floral cards are hand-painted, printed on recycled card, and paired with recycled kraft envelopes. Every single one is made with care and wrapped in twine, with a little note from me.

I’m engaged!! I’ve spent the last few days in a happy little bubble of complete and utter engagement bliss 🥹 we’ve had so much love from our family and friends, I couldn’t not share with my Honey and Incense family too!

Honestly, earrings have kind of fallen to the bottom of my to do list recently, BUT I know that they’re why so many of you are here in the first place, so I hope you like these 🥹🥰✨

These beauties are ONE OF A KIND (unless you all convince me to make them available to order😏), and will be coming with me to the makers market, this Saturday! Pop in anytime from 10-4 (but be earlier rather than later if you want to nap this pair!)

Hedgehog Awareness Week Tip !! 🦔🫶🏽✨

To help hungry & thirsty hedgehogs - leave out a shallow dish of fresh water, and meaty cat or dog food (avoid fish flavors) for visiting hedgehogs, especially during dry spells☀️🦔

Oh, and never give them milk or bread—it can make them poorly! 🚫🥛🍞

If you know me, you’ll know that I love foxes 🦊🥹🤍

Throughout my life foxes have showed up at some of my most poignant moments, and I’ll always be so grateful for the impact they’ve had on me and my life. 🤍

My next card range is focused around our favourite British Wildlife - each card will feature an animal stopping to smell the flowers, because I think we can all learn a thing or two from that alone 🌷🌺🌻

I’ll have a HUGE website update once I’m all sorted with final details of my many, many new ranges, they’re some of my best work yet 🥹🤍
