This extraordinary species has a protected status here in Dorset along areas of the Purbeck coast. We are in the middle of the next storm here...the low tide mark on this morning's walk was covered in scallops and otter shell clams thanks to the rough seas. Stay safe 🌪🌬🌀🌊

It is pouring here in Dorset this morning, a shock welcome home wardrobe issue as I head out to walk the dog now back from my teaching in Italy.
Sharing one of your favourite pieces to buy at events this year, little Ammonite studs straight from the original Ammonite which came into the light during the cliff falls this January here on the Jurrasic coast. So if 'original' or 'one-off' pieces are your thing ....these really do fit the label!!

Last few days here in Florence in the workshop before heading back to the UK team. My head & heart are full. As is my tummy.
Ancient methods, smarter ways of working, new ideas, some really beautiful makers with skills they have been happy to freely share in my lessons. I couldnt have asked for more. Ive been working on these little Apatite stones which will be making an appearance next month once the wax settings have come back in sterling & gold from casting. They are super pretty once set and will be one offs so keep an eye out here for the drop. Off for aperitivo's now, last day tomorrow in class before home.
