FLORAL STEMS - WAX SCULPTING WORKSHOP...

Join us for a creative evening of Wax Sculpted Flower Stems at ARC Space on Friday 9th October, 6–8:30pm.

Come along and learn the art of cold carving and sculpting wax, creating your own beautifully detailed flower blooms. You’ll make two flower stems, which will then be cast into brass to create your very own elegant, ornamental flower stems.

And because creativity is always better with a little tipple, the bar Laceworks at ARC Space | Event Space | Private Hire Venue will be open throughout the evening. Grab a drink, get carving and enjoy a relaxed, creative night out.

CRAFT FESTIVAL WALES...

I'm so lucky to be returning to craft festival Wales Cardigan Castle with Sarah James MBE

In celebration I have two tickets to give away this bank holiday!

There will be two lucky winners receiving one ticket that admits themselves and one guest.

All you have to do is:

Tickets will be left with the box office at the craft fair and you can choose whether you wish to attend on the Friday, Saturday or Sunday.

FINALLY THREADED...

These beads have been made and ready to put onto elastic for much longer than I care to admit... I'm talking months not days.

Anyway I finally found the time to get them threaded and they have turned out to be a beautiful bunch indeed.

These will all be coming with me to Sarah James MBE Wales in just a few weeks time.

More on that soon, just have a few more tasks I've been procrastinating before i get round to a lovley grid post about that!

NICK BLINKO INSPO...

I recently finished a commission and before I could tell you about it the owner beat me to it. So rather than me tell you about it here's what heel had to say:

I’ve just had this amazing Nick Blinko inspired silver ring made by a close friends very talented daughter and am absolutely blown away by how amazing it is 😊

I was left a small amount of money when my dad passed away and asked Amber Cooper-Green to use head and skull drawings from Nick Blinko’s The Haunted Head book to create a ring and cannot believe how detailed and awesome it looks.

If you’re thinking of getting some bespoke jewellery give her a shout as you won’t be disappointed 😊

SHERWOOD ART WEEK CRAFT FAIR...

This weekend I'll be back in sherwood for the secret garden craft fair as part of

A lovley local event full of music, art and joy.

You can find my at sherwood United reformed church on Edwards Lane in a gazebo near the entrance way.

I have lots of new bright colourful work to share with you alongside my new Door stops.

Make sure you swing by and say hello as its been a little while since I've done a local event 👌

Same product, same price but I two different sizes for all your door stopping needs.

6 thin and 7 thick door wedges are now listed and available to purchase.

All are £15 each and have colourful elastic so you can easily hook them on door k***s / door handles when not in use.

WHEN IT'S YOUR SISTERS BIRTHDAY...

The other week it was my lovley sisters birthday and when she came to visit she was absolutely laden in .artist jewellery!

So it only felt natural to add to her collection with a sterling silver and sapphire ring. Perfectly imperfect and a little bit special for a big 20th birthday gift.
