As Heartstones prepares to launch, I wanted to take a moment to speak openly about something that has become increasingly important within the memorial jewellery industry.
Over recent months, there has been a growing amount of AI-generated advertising, heavily altered product imagery, and unfortunately the use of other artists’ photographs being passed off as original work.
Memorial jewellery is deeply personal. People are trusting us with ashes, hair, flowers, breastmilk, fur, and other irreplaceable elements connected to the people and moments they love most. Because of that, honesty, transparency, and trust should always come first.
At Heartstones, every piece shown is my real work and photographed by me.
I do remove and replace backgrounds in some images so my photographs remain clean and consistent across the brand, but the jewellery itself is never altered or edited in any way. The shape, finish, setting, colours, and details you see are exactly as photographed and exactly as created by hand.
I believe clients deserve to see the real standard of craftsmanship they can genuinely expect for their piece.
Each design is individually created, carefully refined, and finished to the smooth, glass-like standard that has become so distinctive to my work. Years of testing, learning, and perfecting techniques have gone into developing the quality and finish behind every Heartstones piece.
As a small artist-led business, protecting original artwork and honest representation is incredibly important to me, not only for my own work, but for the memorial jewellery community as a whole.
With just over a week until launch, I wanted to be completely transparent about the values behind Heartstones and the level of care that goes into every piece created here.
Thank you to everyone who has supported, shared, encouraged, and trusted me so far. It truly means more than you know.
