After a lot of thought, I’ve made the difficult decision to delay the Heartstones launch.

Following the loss of our Nana yesterday, we feel we need a little time to be together as a family and come to terms with such a huge loss. As much as I’ve poured my heart into preparing for this launch, I know I’m not currently in the right headspace to give Heartstones the attention and care it deserves.

I don’t yet have a new launch date, but I’ll share an update next week once I’ve had a little time to reset and regroup.

For any private commissions currently booked in, there may be a few extra days added to the estimated timescale. I never make these decisions lightly, but if this causes any concerns please do get in touch and I’ll always do my best to help.

Thank you all for your patience, kindness and understanding during this time. Your support truly means more than you know 🤍

A little note from me 🤍

Please bear with me over the coming days if replies and messages are a little slower than usual.

Our family has experienced a very sad loss this morning with the passing of our much-loved Nana, and I’ll be taking a little time to be with family and process everything.

Thank you for your patience, kindness, and understanding during this difficult time.

✨ BANK HOLIDAY PRE-LAUNCH SPECIAL ✨

A little early release before launch...

These earrings were originally created as a beautiful gift for a special woman, made using her husband’s ashes — a quiet way to keep someone close, every day. 🤍

I now have one pair only of these sterling silver heart stud earrings available as a pre-launch special in exchange for permission to photograph the finished piece for future Heartstones images.

Created using your choice of ashes, hair, or breastmilk, and personalised in your own colours, opal, or style.

Once this pair is gone, it's gone.
Message me if you'd like to claim them.

The importance of correct preservation methods and patience 🌸⏳

One of the most important parts of flower memorial jewellery happens long before the setting process even begins.

These two pieces were created using the same flowers from the bunch Charlotte picked for me a few weeks back.

The top images show a flower that was not properly preserved before setting.
The lower image shows the same flower type after undergoing a correct preservation process before being permanently encapsulated.

The difference in colour retention after just two weeks is significant.

Flowers are living, organic materials. If moisture remains trapped inside, changes can happen incredibly quickly once sealed. Proper preservation takes additional time, patience, and testing — but it plays a huge part in how a piece will age over time.

This is why I place such a strong focus on preservation methods, material testing, and long-term wear rather than rushing pieces through the process.

Quiet details matter. Especially when something is irreplaceable.

If any of my past or present clients would be so kind to spare me a few minutes. I’m starting completely from scratch with this new page — even though many of you have supported my work for years through Narrative Memorials.

If I’ve ever created a piece for you, helped guide you through the process, answered your messages at midnight, or simply made a difficult time feel a little easier, I would be incredibly grateful if you would consider leaving an honest review on the Heartstones page.

This isn’t about asking for perfect reviews or anything untrue. Genuine feedback about your experience, customer care, communication, or the quality of my work genuinely helps small artist-led businesses like mine more than people realise.

Heartstones may be a new name, but the care, craftsmanship, and person behind it remain the same ❤️

Thank you for supporting this next chapter. It means more than I can put into words.

As Heartstones prepares to launch, I wanted to take a moment to speak openly about something that has become increasingly important within the memorial jewellery industry.

Over recent months, there has been a growing amount of AI-generated advertising, heavily altered product imagery, and unfortunately the use of other artists’ photographs being passed off as original work.

Memorial jewellery is deeply personal. People are trusting us with ashes, hair, flowers, breastmilk, fur, and other irreplaceable elements connected to the people and moments they love most. Because of that, honesty, transparency, and trust should always come first.

At Heartstones, every piece shown is my real work and photographed by me.

I do remove and replace backgrounds in some images so my photographs remain clean and consistent across the brand, but the jewellery itself is never altered or edited in any way. The shape, finish, setting, colours, and details you see are exactly as photographed and exactly as created by hand.

I believe clients deserve to see the real standard of craftsmanship they can genuinely expect for their piece.

Each design is individually created, carefully refined, and finished to the smooth, glass-like standard that has become so distinctive to my work. Years of testing, learning, and perfecting techniques have gone into developing the quality and finish behind every Heartstones piece.

As a small artist-led business, protecting original artwork and honest representation is incredibly important to me, not only for my own work, but for the memorial jewellery community as a whole.

With just over a week until launch, I wanted to be completely transparent about the values behind Heartstones and the level of care that goes into every piece created here.

Thank you to everyone who has supported, shared, encouraged, and trusted me so far. It truly means more than you know.

Another football-inspired memorial ring completed for a lovely local client ⚽️

This piece was designed using meaningful colours to quietly reflect a lifelong love for the game, while holding ashes safely beneath the inlay. Subtle enough for everyday wear, but deeply personal to the person wearing it.

I always love creating pieces like this — jewellery that doesn’t just look beautiful, but carries memories, personality, stories, and connection within it ❤️

Quietly meaningful jewellery, made to hold what matters.

Not every piece of memorial jewellery is created from grief.

Sometimes, it’s created to hold onto joy.

This piece was made using sand collected from a honeymoon in Whitehaven — a place tied to love, happiness, and a moment my client never wants to forget. A tiny beach scene, captured forever in silver, so she can always carry that feeling with her… the warmth, the calm, the moment her feet first touched the sand.

That’s what I love about this work.
It isn’t always about loss. Sometimes it’s about celebrating the moments that made you feel most alive. 🥰

Heartstones was never meant to be mass produced or rushed.

I care deeply about every part of the experience — not just the jewellery itself, but the feeling of receiving something made slowly, intentionally and with genuine care.

The tiny details matter to me because your story matters to me.

And I think that should be felt from the very first moment your package arrives. 🤍

Can you guess which football team my client’s father supported? 💙💛

Beneath the opal in this ring rests a small amount of his ashes, quietly held close every single day. The colours were chosen to reflect the team he loved so much, turning this piece into more than jewellery… it’s a connection, a memory, and a small part of him carried forward.

I think that’s what makes memorial jewellery so special. Sometimes the most meaningful tributes are the quietest ones — details that only a few people in the world will truly understand, yet hold an entire lifetime of love behind them.
