Lynsey studied printed textiles at Edinburgh College of Art, & went on from there to the RCA to stud

I design and make wearable wool jewellery and hair accessories inspired by my vintage collections and a quirky sense of humour. The jewellery is based loosely on an imaginary garden crossed with a delicious haberdashery shop. The work is strongly coloured and has a delightful nostalgic charm. I have been in business for 21 years since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2000 where I studied Constructed textiles. I had previously gained a BA(Hons) from Edinburgh College of Art in Printed Textiles. I decided to wing it and have a go at setting up on my own after Tricia Guild of ‘Designers Guild’ bought one of my pieces at the RCA show giving a boost to my confidence!

Thank you for a great weekend Great Northern Contemporary Craft & Art Fair it was so lovely to be back in Manchester, the weekend was made all the better by my fantastic neighbours Emma O'Brien and Wordy things are my nerdy thing 😉 👏👏👏
