A huge thank you to everyone who commented on yesterday’s Thistle Pendants, slid into my DMs, and even placed orders last night!!! I’m so grateful for the incredible reception. It means the world.
As the CEO (aka the sole decision-maker) around here 🤭. I’ve made two executive decisions for the sake of my sanity:
1. The genuine Scottish Amethysts will be set in the middle part of the design, not the top. My Amethyst shards are mostly too chunky for that top spot, so the middle gives me the space I need to cast them properly in situ. 💜
2. ALL pieces will be “Freeform Style.” I want them to look aged, organic, and like a treasure you’d find digging through the soil—a bit like an old coin. No two will ever be exactly alike.
How it Works When You Order:
If I have stock, I’ll show you what’s available so you can pick your favourite.
If I don’t have stock, I will handcast two uniquely for you, and you get to choose the one that speaks to you most.
I’m taking the new batch for their official test drive this Saturday! I’ll be in person at the Mey Highland Games in John o’ Groats.

l’ve never settled on a name for my colourful 🌈 sprinkle style with low-fire enamels torch-fired onto metal—until now!
While putting together a B2B brochure, I finally sat down to find the right name. My mind always went to seasonal colours, flower fields, and blooming landscapes. I loved Flower Confetti, but another artist uses it for real flower pieces.
Then I remembered my married name...Rainbow Confetti it is! 😃🤭

I found this really old piece of wood the other week in the Firth of Forth near Culross. It has been drying for a few weeks now. I can’t wait to work with its Textures soon. But first: I’ll be away from the studio on and off over the next two weeks. Enjoying some time with family & friends here and there. 😃🎸🎶🥂🍾🍸🧘‍♀️

Anke Rainbow is now a Registered Trademark!
Today, a very exciting email arrived at the studio—my official Trademark Registration Certificate from the IPO!
Over the last 3+ years, I have poured my heart, soul, and endless hours into pioneering my signature texture jewellery, capturing the authentic, physical surfaces of Scotland’s & Northumberland’s historic sites into wearable art.
As the brand scales protecting that original craftsmanship is incredibly important to me.
What does this mean?
It means the Anke Rainbow brand, my original design executions, and my signature collection concepts are officially protected by law. While it’s always flattering to inspire others, this legal shield ensures that my 3+ years of unique heritage storytelling and texture craftsmanship remain entirely exclusive to me.
To my amazing community who always values authentic, independent, and sustainable design—thank you for being on this journey with me.
