After a busy start to the year it's been so lovely to have 4 full days off over the Easter Weekend catching up with family, introducing visitors to Treasuretrail Limited and making plans for later in the year.

I achieved a new PB at , squeezed in a little bit of time af the allotment, visited my Dad's resting place, helped mum in her garden and cause a glimpse of our spikey little hedgehog who has now woken up.

There was even the rarely seen, lesser spotted blue sky on a Bank Holiday!!

Today has been (yawn!) all about the start of the new financial year

But tomorrow?

All the creative fun starts again - and I can't wait!!!

And that as they say - is another week done! ⁠

Yes, it's 11.30pm on a Sunday evening - and yes, the cup of tea I made about an hour ago (when I had one quick thing left to do) has gone cold... ⁠
⁠
but - the laptop is on charge, the To Do list is written, the diary is updated with the revised production schedule, my swatch packs are at the ready for tomorrows costing exercise and yes - those are glitter highlighters waiting to be called in to action!! ⁠

I'm ready for another new week and off to see if the stars are out tonight before heading for bed. ⁠

It was a busy day, and we know that there were a lot of exhibitors, so if you've since thought of a question you wish you'd asked, drop us a message - we aim to reply ASAP but will be taking a break tomorrow.

This beautiful floral ring card really is circular – but relax, it does stand up!

The hand coloured nature of the floral ring means you can request the recipients favourite colours and makes it perfect for a variety of different occasions – birthday, good luck, thank you, get well, Mothers Day, moving home, Just to say….

We start by hand stamping the gorgeous floral ring image by hand onto FSC quality card, then then hand colour the floral ring using our favourite promarker pens and add a little glitter for some stunning sparkle.

Finally, we mount the coloured image to the base card with a pretty die cut frame.

There inside of the card that will be left blank for you to add your own personal message or, if you prefer, we can add a message of your specification at no additional cost – please ensure you supply this carefully as we will copy, paste and print as supplied.

Finished card will fit an envelope size approximately 18cm x 18cm – please remember this is slightly larger than most of our cards, so check the postage when you send.

It’s been a while - so its time to introduce (or reintroduce) myself. I’m Kate - mum, wife, administrator, and the creative heart behind Floating on Air Designs.

I’ve always believed that “that’ll do” simply won’t, that celebrations deserve something truly personal. That’s why I creating handcrafted cards, announcements & invitations you won’t find on the High Street ensure no two days at the Creation Station are ever the same.

My passion lies in paper crafting, but I’ve always loved exploring different crafts — cross stitch, crystal art, stamping, decoupage, die cutting, colouring digital stamps. I especially adore shaped and 3D designs… and adding a bit of sparkle never hurts.

Some of my favourite moments are spent experimenting with new techniques, turning moments of unexpected inspiration into a design, creating wedding stationery samples & working on bespoke designs. I love chatting with clients, researching the details & creating something that truly stands out and will be treasured.

My tech skills are very much a work in progress, I have a fear of heights & am a typically stubborn Taurean.

I'm obviously thrilled that Royal Mail have put the greetings card right at the heart of their Christmas campaign - but do wonder it it's a little late?

The service levels have been dropping and the prices have been rising which is hugely damaging to customer trust not only for them but for small businesses everywhere.

My hope for 2026 is that the service level increases and prices remain constant to reignite customer trust.

Just 1 month from today .....

After a weekend of allowing myself to regroup, relax and enjoy the Las Vegas Grand Prix (the 4am race start was worth it - until post race it wasn't😢) the frantic creativity of the last few months has slowed to a crawl, the double ended candle burning is reduced, I look far less festival glitter ready and my sore, dented fingers have slowly returned to their normal shape.

Now, alongside a few ongoing orders, there is time for me to look at my personal preparations and with international time-zone considerations there is definitely an extra layer of coordination stress this year!

Please tell me I am not alone in feeling less prepared than I would like to be.
