As well as silversmithing I’ve been back at the sewing machine this year and here’s an extra large lap quilt plus three matching cushions I’ve completed plus a new cutting mat bag for myself with extra large pockets internally and net pockets on outside for quilting rulers.

A few new creations, have been concentrating on silver smithing the last couple of years but all had fun on a stained glass course recently.

Just spent the last four days on an intensive silver-smithing course at Cheshire School of Jewellery. Lisa was a fabulous teacher. I have dabbled with silver before but not for long time and I was incredibly nervous about working with silver again. Lisa gave me the confidence to have another go, relearn old skills and learn many new ones and tips. She is a kind and generous teacher with her knowledge and patience. Had great fun enamelling copper at the end too, a wonderful bonus! I will definitely be back to try out other course and also get back into it again. Thank you!
