They definitely did have a point, these are all very valid. I’d never even visited Cyprus before we moved here and I actually knew very little about it. We have been extremely lucky, but there are definitely things I wish I’d known beforehand that would’ve made life easier.

Everyone knows that I’m happy to talk about my love of living in Cyprus all day long, but I can’t keep up with the messages I’m getting lately and I hate not replying. Well that escalated quickly 😂
In summary, I made a post about how amazingly kind, trusting and welcoming I’ve found the people of Cyprus to be since we moved here a year ago. Many of the things that have happened to us here have warmed my heart and though I met lovely, kind people in England, where I lived my whole life, I never experienced the widespread level of trust and same hospitality from strangers that I’ve encountered in a short time in Cyprus. This is obviously just my opinion, based only on the area we live in and the experiences we’ve had here.
There were also many, many lovely, kind comments on the post which I very much appreciate.
I would also like to add that I am not offended, upset or at all bothered by the comments on my previous post. I’m just amused - or bemused 😂🤷🏼‍♀️….I’m happy that people in England love where they live too and I’m delighted that people find kindness everywhere ❤️

Please don’t read this if you’re sick of hearing about Cyprus 😂
If however you’ve never visited and are considering it, or if you’re just nosey (like me 😂) then dive right in!
Once again, I’m generalising. There are lovely, kind, friendly, honest people everywhere (especially Teesside, my hometown)….it just seems like there are so many more of them on this tiny island - especially the part we live in ❤️
