This isn’t even the full list, there’s more if I really think about it!
People always come at me when I make a post comparing England to Cyprus, so I would just like to say that this post is purely my own opinion based entirely on my own experience. I know not everyone has the same opinion or experience, and that’s what makes life interesting! I know Cyprus isn’t perfect and doesn’t have everything - scones for example….but it is perfect for me right now and I am very, very grateful to live here ✨

I’d never been to Cyprus before we decided to move here. My husband had lived and worked here years before we met and always loved it, but for me (and the kids!) it was completely new.

We chose our house from a video walkthrough, researched schools online, packed up our entire life in the UK and basically hoped we hadn’t made a terrible decision.

Looking back, it sounds slightly unhinged….thankfully, it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

But I’m curious… would you have done it?

So many things I was not mentally prepared for!…although that could be the story of my life 😂

The good news is, even with my lack of preparation, it still worked out beautifully for all involved 🙏🏻

I definitely learnt a few things the hard way.
