A lovely day out in the sun, hiding from the wind, at mothercap and millstone edge.. lots of balancing and bounding around on the rocks and the navigation led by the adventurers..

We now have an additional Team Leader at our Mansfield Woodhouse Day Service. Congratulations to Leona! 🤩

Today a team of Adventurers from Mansfield Woodhouse went to New Buildings Farm near Wirksworth to build a 'Wim-Wam', or maybe it was a 'Thingymagig'... Anyway, we built a giant 'marble run' out of the environment, some guttering and found materials. Fearne the dog sometimes deigns to accompany us and she did today
It was great to have so many different ideas being bounced around and great teamwork to make this thing work!

At The Adventure Service we love to learn new skills so we can offer even more opportunities to our Adventurers. Last week, Terry shared his knowledge on tool use with this lovely group of team members. They carved spoons and a skulk of foxes. 🦊

Christina, our lovely Team Leader for Mansfield Woodhouse Day Service, attended the Nottinghamshire County Council 'Proud to Care Awards' on Friday evening.

We're all very proud that she was a finalist in the category of 'Office and Operational Staff'.
Congratulations Christina! 🎊
