When knitting with metal for the first time, you will tend to make pieces that are straight and linear, as beginner projects usually work on a set number of stitches.

By varying the number of stitches, you can create curves and change the whole look of a design.

Knitting jewellery was always going to create more textile, clothing like designs, but the benefit is that you can then in turn use techniques that you would normally never use on jewellery like sewing. The real challenge then is how to create jewellery which still captures the feeling, elegance and emotion of precious jewellery despite having those textile like qualities.

I hand knit each and every piece, it literally takes me hours upon hours of patience and love to make each piece. Actually I have kits, so if you don’t believe I make it myself or you think it’s easy then try it for yourself! It’s beginner level though so don’t worry haha

I've had many requests from customers in the EU and Northern Ireland about whether I could release the patterns for the kits on the website, as I'm unable to send the full kits to those regions due to GPSR regulations.

Well, your wish has been granted!
The Window Cuff pattern is today available on Etsy and Ravelry, and I'm working on making the Duality kit knitting pattern available too very soon.
