You know what’s the saddest thing about this all - as horrifying as the racial abuse was towards these Young Kings - we… as black folk living in Britain, we’re not even surprised. We knew this tirade of would come as soon as Young Marcus missed his penalty.

For me, the abuse towards 19 year old Saka cut that much deeper. He’s a 19 YO for flipsake. But that’s just it, they find it so easy to dehumanise black boys, girls, men and women. They think because we are strong, we’ll just take it.

I’ll say it again… You may talk like you don’t want us, but never ever forget… YOU NEED US.

While I’m on the theme of in other scripts thought I pull this one out of the archives.

For many architectural schools it’s currently the ‘End of Year Show’ season. For my Masters EoYS I designed the exhibition studio logo and worked with my studio peers on the branding. We definitely hands down had the best exhibition space that year.

Honestly I probably cared and enjoyed this more than I ever did the student work throughout the 2 years. 🙈🤦🏿‍♂️

Priorities eh! (Or maybe rather )

Sometimes my wife’s language is as colourful as my illustrations. 🤬
DW, and I are working on that. 🙏🏿

All the more “interesting” when it’s in Punjabi… 👀

In fact I advise never insult me in Punjabi, as if there is ever a time I know what you’re saying… Yep it’s then.

Anyway, thought I re-interpreted this one ‘Get Lost’ (i.e. p*** off) for something more ‘light-hearted’.

Jheeeeze.... A whole year since these wonderful memories were created. Means so much more after a year where weddings have been well... very different. May there be many many more years... May they get better and may we get stronger. Til the casket dip. I love you Rizzly.
