The plant-packed in Vienna is a really delightful plantseller, gift shop and cafe.

Such a great space to hold a meeting or event, and brings a very different energy to central Vienna - an area dominated by heritage architecture and precise luxury retail.

Also, in a very good way, reminds me of the Kith Women cafe in New York - itself a collaboration with a local plant shop.

In short, fill your space with plants and people will leave happy.

Managed to pack in some store research on a recent project in Vienna - and there’s no city I’ve seen where heritage is more fiercely preserved.

From independents through to international giants like and , you’ve no choice but to work with the history.

And I’m biased, but strongly believe it makes for a much richer experience.

Always impressed with the inventiveness of VM and displays - so the quality of the “Frutteria” concept at is no surprise.

Lots of great small details that tend to make all the difference with the these sorts of activations.

Immaculately designed and merchandised .prague by our friends at

Thought put into every nook and cranny.

This was actually finished a few years ago, but it looks remarkably fresh today.

Another week full of keynotes, the last of which was in Trondheim.

Which led me to the really wonderful local brand , who do a great mix of their own clothes and a curated selection of others - with a good amount of quality second-hand thrown in too.

Beautifully authentic store with the repair services proudly at the front. Also loved the way second-hand was blended with new clothing - an approach used a lot on the Nordics but rarely anywhere else.

Very cool but totally warm and accessible too - just the right balance.

Another great in Gothenburg in the books.

Also managed to squeeze in a store tour, including a last minute visit to the amazing to meet legendary music photographer .

Plus inevitable stops at equally legendary and among others.

Cannot recommend Gothenburg enough if you’re into quiet luxury, second-hand fashion, interiors and food.

I’m a total sucker for history and heritage, so just love the x pop-up on Pont Street, London.

And especially love the archive - a collection of some of the oldest Boots products available.

Brands that have history ought to have fun with it - especially given how powerful nostalgia is in modern culture.

I’d hope Boots can do more of this at scale, too - much like M&S have done with St. Michael.

Loved the flagship in New York.

The fragrance industry is so boring and stuffy, incapable of taking itself less seriously.

So it was so refreshing to see a fragrance brand having fun, being silly and playful, and trying to engage a customer group who have traditionally been alienated by the legacy brands.
