We’ve been buying court dress again 🫣 . The one in the images is complete ! Including sword, stockings, hat . Gloves….. there is also a 1913 Davies suit but we’ve misplaced the box believe it or not . That also has a sword but we’ll list that one later . In light of these finds we will probably reduce the price of the ones we already have . Size 40 long and pretty much as new.

Here a label we haven’t seen for probably 12-13 years …
This is the Original incarnation of Gieves and these were made for Commander Archibald Alastair Scott, captain of HMS Lawford.

Just a quick one ! This lovely Huntsman Scots Guards blazer was returned. There were a few people interested but it sold very quickly . We’ve got lots of nice stock lined up so we’ll make a few posts tomorrow .

Ok ! Today is braces day ! We haven’t had a sort out of these for a long time so over the next 24 hours we’re going to try and get them all online and photographed .

In sorting out the hats we realised that two of them actually went with a blazer we thankfully hadn’t sold yet . The 1924 Bodgers size 42 ( massive for that time!) Cambridge bespoke blazer has two beautiful hats now !

We at last got round to uploading the bowlers and homburg hats this morning 😂 Mostly 56-57 but there is one larger one also. All old pre 1960 and generally in very good condition.

Dege heavy flannel DB bespoke suit with flat fronted trousers Size 42/44 . You can’t get them like this any more !

We just added this fantastic trio of Welsh and Jefferies town and country suits to the site . With alpaca lining and all the trimmings these are superb and really quite rare suits to find . In terms of size they are 42/44 in the body with larger waist trousers so keep that in mind . Condition is basically as new though so certainly worth a little tailoring costs .
