15 years ago I made a lovely greying, thinning for in the role of for series
It was a pretty cool project, as I got to learn more with all the research I did into the various historical figures I was helping to bring to life! Who knew George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were in their youth???

So, this summer? As a huge fan I'm kinda embarrassed to admit to not reading this sooner!
We've all seen the documentaries, read it in but this is a different kettle of fish. You know when Dorothy says to Toto, "were not in Kansas anymore"?
Well this is Kansas. 1959. And I can see why but will never truly understand, obvs, that simple, mid-western agricultural/township bond that was so radically shaken by the events as recounted in the book that caused so much controversy back then...
