I picked up this tiny little shell yesterday on the foreshore. How I managed to not crush it I don’t know! I think it’s a common periwinkle possibly. What’s interesting is it has a small bore hole where a predatory snail has drilled a hole into the shell in order to consume it.

I was back on the foreshore for the first time in a while yesterday. Picked up some nice bits. I don’t know why I picked up the bone but I will find a use for it. Nice vulcanite stopper to add to my collection! Saw some very noisy Egyptian geese!
