'Surgical steel' is not a regulated term. Neither is 'hypoallergenic.' Without certification, they mean nothing.

Here's what to actually look for 👇

✅ Implant grade titanium (ASTM F136) — nickel-free, biocompatible, the gold standard
❌ 'Surgical steel' — unregulated, no standard, no guarantee
❌ 'Hypoallergenic' — marketing word, not a certification

Not sure what a studio is using? Ask: "Is this ASTM F136 titanium or solid 14k/18k gold? Can I see certifications?"
