Important update for my EU customers and followers.
Sadly, I’m once again having to withdraw from selling to the EU, and this time I think it may be a more permanent goodbye. Unless the UK rejoins the EU or at the very least the single market, the increasing barriers and costs have simply become too difficult for a tiny business like mine to manage.
From 15th June, I’ll be switching off shipping to the EU to allow any final orders the best chance of clearing customs successfully. So if you’ve had your eye on something, or would like a custom piece made, now is the time to get in touch.
I just want to say a huge, heartfelt thank you to all of my wonderful EU supporters over the years. A special thank you to my family and friends in Ireland, who have always been so supportive of my little business from the start. Your support, orders, messages and encouragement have meant more than I can put into words.
To all my EU followers, thank you for being here, and I truly hope you’ll still stick around to follow my jewellery journey going forward.

You know that moment at the beach when the sand gets absolutely everywhere?
Shoes. Buckets. The car. Pockets. Everywhere.
Well I rescued it and turned it into earrings. Specifically into seagulls wearing glitter wellies.
Best earrings on the internet? I think so!

Today I redeemed my Mother’s Day present of a workshop with the awesome Jen from and made this funky photobooth picture frame. It was so fun! I got to pick the glass, cut it, grind it, copper tape it and solder it all up! I went in thinking of a blue green combo but then spotted this orange one. Love it! Completely new experience and I would highly recommend it!

Did you know basking sharks are regularly spotted off the coasts of the British Isles? Many a summer I have looked for them off the coast of my home county back in Ireland and I love them so much I made them into earrings, and have two variations! Black with rainbow glitter gills or blue glittery green/blue gill detail. Made using a custom mould unique to Copper Magpie Designs by .

Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet, it’s been Easter, we’ve been pet sitting sticks, I’ve been unwell for what feels like a month now, not enough to really knock me out but enough to slow me down a bit. Quite annoying to be honest. I have started a new project! Photo books of our travels from 2015-2016! It’s slow going and I am a bit worried now that some of the photos are a bit small but as my other half says -it’s a first draft… let’s see. Anyway nice to be working on something a bit different and away from the constant bad news in the world at the moment. Are you working on anything at the moment?

Sometimes you have something pictured in your mind but it doesn’t quite work, however as a reel it looks pretty good 😊 New earrings in the shop, more versions to be added next week.

Another day and another post. Instagram is really punishing me for taking a few weeks off. I have had one post since January that was over 1500 views. Everything else was about 300. Now I’d be lucky to hit that. Enough of a moan from me! Found this video when going through my phone, my girls were playing with some dandelion clocks at the allotment today. Made me think of these earrings!

At our last house, there was a peony out the front, with big maroon/ red wine coloured blooms, for two weeks a year it would burst into a symphony of big blousy blossoms before the wind and rain battered it. We loved to see people admire it as they passed our little terrace. It came with the house, and when we moved we left it for the next owners. Though Peony season may be over these blooms can be a reminder of those heady days of early summer! These beauties are in my Etsy shop right now, link in bio!
