Been a bit under the weather for the last couple of weeks but am perking up slowly. Production has been on an order only basis but I’m starting to get back in gear. Made some molten silver pendants today. Meet up tomorrow with some of my lovely jewellery girls for a special little silver clay project so will hopefully update on that soon too. X

Last day of January at last! Been feeling this general vibe all week. 🌧️ So cold and drizzly but then when we need it, out comes the sun. ☀️ I hope for anyone who has felt the January blues there will soon be some sunny skies ahead. As for this pendant, I won’t lie, this was a right fiddly nightmare to make (mainly the rain chains) also I’ve not made the main chain for it yet so I’ve just attached a necklace I already have to it to take the photo. I think next time I’ll leave out the drizzle and just make a sunny sky. Wishing you all a sunny and bright February wherever you are 🩷

My daughter is not a big fan of silver jewellery and prefers gold (typical) she also frequent looses things. This being the case I decided it was probably a good idea to make her a gold filled ring rather than a solid gold one to see if it survived. So I made this yesterday. Today she text from college to say she had lost it. Thankfully it was located swiftly at home however I think we may stick with gold filled for now and see how we go. I am lead to believe gold filled is a pretty good alternative to gold as it’s much cheaper and also lasts better than gold plated. Fingers crossed this one lasts the year (as in, doesn’t get lost!) then if she is lucky I’ll move onto gold jewellery 🤣
