Swipe for one of my rarest finds yet! Pirate glass ☠️ a term for really old glass. It's estimated that these pieces can date from the 17th-18th century! Often mistaken for a pebble, this one is easily one of my best finds 🕵🏻‍♀️

Hello 👋🏻

Since I've had some new followers I thought I'd introduce myself again!

I'm Laura, the maker behind Little Vara Designs. I make jewellery using precious metals, sea glass and sea pottery. I also enjoy doing sea themed illustrations and collages.

Being based on Orkney is an absolute treat, we're never stuck for inspiration or a beach to go to! I'm incredibly lucky to have two wonderful ladies that usually tag along, Mum and Lil.

My work is currently on display at the Ship Of Fools Gallery alongside some amazing artists and makers.
