We recently heard Co-op advertising that they’re offering £1 hot drinks from their Costa Express machines for one day only, and it got us thinking… 🤔

As a small independent coffee shop, competing with the big chains isn’t always easy. But there’s one thing we’re incredibly proud of here at Peacos… OUR COFFEE! ❤️

We serve proper, freshly made barista coffee using our very own Peacos House Blend, roasted right here in Kippax! No push-button machines here! 🥰

So, we’ve decided to take on the big boys with a little one-day offer of our own! 🤭

The side of running a small business you don’t see… 🩷

From the outside, it’s pretty cakes, lovely coffees, vintage china and a cosy little tea room.

Behind the scenes? It’s midnight baking sessions, unexpected disasters, endless paperwork, sleepless nights and occasionally wondering what on earth you’ve got yourself into! 😂

Just this weekend, we lost a load of ice cream stock because a freezer was accidentally left open. It’s things like that you never really prepare for when you dream of opening your own business.

Running a small business is one of the most rewarding things I’ve ever done, but it’s also one of the hardest.

And although Instagram usually shows you the lovely bits, I thought it was time to share a little of the reality too.

Would I change it? No. Do I sometimes question my sanity? Absolutely! 😂🩷

Every visit, every lovely comment, every recommendation and every customer who comes back means more than you probably realise.

So thank you for supporting our little dream. It really does mean the world. 🩷

Our surprise bags have been selling out SO quickly, which is absolutely amazing! 🥹💕 But unfortunately, it’s making us a little tricky to find on the Too Good To Go app!

Here’s how to find us and make sure you don’t miss out! 👇

💕 Why can’t you find us?

Unfortunately, Too Good To Go only shows us in the search results when we have a surprise bag actively available to buy. As our bags have been selling out within minutes, we’re only appearing on the app for a very short time!

💕 So here’s our plan!

We’ll be posting on our Instagram and Facebook stories BEFORE our next bags go live, giving you a heads-up so you can get ready to find us!

💕 Once you find us, make sure you tap the ❤️ to FAVOURITE us!

With notifications switched on in your Too Good To Go app, you’ll then be able to receive alerts when we release more surprise bags, so hopefully you won’t miss out!

💕 When will bags be available?

Usually on Sundays or Mondays, but we’ll also be releasing them at various times throughout the week whenever we have goodies to rescue!
