Handcrafted with a beautiful Ocean Jasper statement stone, natural agate and pink dyed agate, this one-of-a-kind necklace is finished with my own handmade sterling silver clasp.

I made the clasp so it can be fastened from either the left or right, making it both beautiful and practical.

I chose copper for its warmth and its symbolism of connection and energy, making this more than simply a piece of jewellery.

🧡 ALL ABOUT THE COPPER 🧡

I thought it was time to dedicate a post to one of my favourite materials to work with — copper.

A lot of the copper I use is recycled. Some of my pieces have even started life as old copper pipe or copper stripped from electrical wire, before being cleaned up and transformed into something completely different.

That copper can become delicate jewellery, a Tree of Life, a bird, a seahorse… or even a scorpion! 🦂

I love working with copper because there are so many things I can do with it — hammering, twisting, weaving and shaping it by hand to create something new.
