💚Scottish Highland Marble - connecting you directly to the raw, timeless, and enduring beauty of the Scottish wilderness. Lovingly hand cast. Reloving finest British pewter sustainably sourced from preloved tableware.
History: Over 800 million years ago, massive limestone deposits formed under the ancient oceans covering what is now Scotland. As prehistoric plant matter and algae settled on the seabed, the chlorophyll mixed with the sediment.
Millions of years later, intense heat and tectonic pressure from emerging mountain ranges—and nearby magma chambers—metamorphosed the limestone. This process altered minerals like forsterite into serpentine, giving the marble its famous, vibrant green streaks and bands. (Info Google)

Big thank you to .dold.historian for writing about my work. Thank you to for kindly sending me a copy, which arrived in the post today. To top it all, the very kind reporter who organised the copy is called…. Yeh you guessed it: Jamie!!! What are the chances ?! 🤭 Off to laminate the piece. Will make a nice addition to my event stall!
