Tomorrow (from 12:30) and over the Bank Holiday weekend (10am - 4pm), you will find me and a bunch of other very talented artists and makers from Hampshire Art & Craft Collective showing our work at the Physic Garden in the centre of Petersfield!

This is part of the Hampshire Open Studios event. We are venue 199 in the brochure: why not plan a route and visit other nearby venues too?

I will be bringing these BRAND NEW pieces and more. Hope to see some familiar faces there 😊 If you can't make it but can spy something you like, just pop me a message!

☆ TOMORROW - See me at work and NEW pieces available to purchase as part of Hampshire Open Studios ☆

I have been very busy the last couple of weeks making a big new batch of earrings (including studs, hoops and hook/stud dangles) and necklaces as I barely had any stock left!

I've been filming snippets of the process ready to stich together a reel, but with birthdays, a weekend away and various other summer holiday juggles with the kids, I haven't got around to it yet! So here's a good old-fashioned still for now and I'll be back on again when I have half an hour of down time 😅

Both Wi******er Information Centre and Sea Sky Gallery & Design had almost sold out of their Sea Clay collections but will now have gorgeously full displays again! 🌞 I have spent a couple of lovely days in Hamble during this latest heatwave with my children and their friends - picnicking, crabbing, paddleboarding and ice cream eating - such a gorgeous place to while away a few hours. And a visit to Sea Sky is a must: just look at some of the gorgeous treasures and cards that you can find there!

Have a lovely weekend, whatever you are doing! We're off to the beach today for a swim in the sea 🌊 Then, I need to get making again, ready for Hampshire Open Studios!

Hello 👋 That's me back from a lush week on the Lizard Peninsular in Cornwall with the family! A really beautiful area, and I can highly recommend Glebe_Hall_Cornwall where we stayed (pics 3&4): the private outdoor pool and games room were a real hit with us all 🥰

This followed a very full-on last half term at school, culminating in me leaving my teaching job of 21 years and my youngest finishing primary school too 🥹

Hitting the ground running on my return, as this small business of mine becomes more important financially...

It's Trout n About in Stockbridge tomorrow (Sunday 2nd) and I have a stall with the wonderful South Central Makers™ |🎨🏺🪡🧁| Community Markets Hampshire in the air-conditioned Stockbridge Town Hall. Hopefully see some of my lovely followers there 😊

A day OUT OF the sun 🌞😆

Spent the morning in a cool hall doing pilates, wandering down a bridleway in the shade and hanging out in air-conditioned shops doing errands.

THEN the afternoon in my happy place...well almost. Not in my actual studio still, but at the dining table of our temporary home. It means I have to clear away, but there IS the bonus of it being downstairs instead of in the loft! 🥵

I've been sanding again - this time pieces from a small batch that I made on Saturday at the wonderful ArtFest River Hamble.

Hello 👋

As I press 'submit' on the dreaded tax return and pay my dues, I thought I'd better drop a post on the grid to say I'm still here! A belated Happy New Year to you all.

My online shop is back open and I'll start being more active on here again as I start to make plans for 2026!

We did have a bit of a rubbish end to last year with a huge pipe leak through 2 floors of our home at the start of December. Things are still in limbo somewhat as we await news on temporary re-housing and more of an idea of when and how long repair work will take, so bear with me 😢

Who's looking forward to the longer, lighter days ahead? 🌤

🎄 Just a heads up that I will be closing my online shop at 10pm tomorrow (Sunday 14th December), to allow time for little brown boxes to wing their way to their new homes. It will re-open again in the new year.

📮 Please note that my 'standard delivery' option is 2nd class Royal Mail, but you can choose to upgrade to 1st class ('express' option).
