These rings weren’t supposed to look like this.
I originally made them smooth and plain so my sister and her fiancé could texture each other’s wedding bands and make them completely unique to them.

Then wedding planning happened 😆

So at 10pm the night before the wedding, in a Cardiff hotel room, I was sat with my hammer hand-texturing them instead.

Not quite the plan, but every mark is still completely unique and they’ll always carry a little piece of the chaos and excitement of the night before.

A little remake story 🤍

This customer originally had a pink sea glass ring from me which sadly got lost at college, so I recreated the design using a new piece of beautiful Pembrokeshire sea glass.

One thing I love about handmade jewellery is that no two pieces are ever identical -every bit of sea glass has its own shape, colour and character, which means every remake becomes its own little story too 🌊

Being a small handmade business also means being human. Sometimes designs evolve, settings get improved, and pieces get remade along the way -but I’ll always do my best to make sure customers end up with something they truly love.

I’m really happy with how this new version turned out ✨
