May Colours
The primary birthstone for May is the emerald, known for its rich, vibrant green colour, the emerald is often associated with rebirth, renewal, and spring.
It is traditionally linked to wisdom, growth, and love.
To keep it beautiful, it is best to clean emeralds with warm, soapy water and a soft brush rather than ultrasonic cleaners.
While the emerald is the most prominent birthstone for May, some modern lists also recognize green agate or chrysoprase as alternatives.
While agate comes in many colours, green agate is commonly linked to May as a stone of harmony and growth. Chrysoprase: A vibrant apple-green gemstone that acts as a popular, more affordable alternative to emerald.

Colour Psychology
Carrying on my theme of Colour psychology and looking at how different colours affect your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour.
Red crystals embody these powerful attributes as well, serving as potent allies in our journey towards self-discovery and fulfilment.
They echo the energies we see with the colour red, but each with their own unique flair!
If you’re wanting to keep it simple and easy to remember – when you see a red crystal, know that it’ll likely contain properties of red colour theory that I mentioned above.
Likewise, for if you’re looking to support a certain emotion; seeking confidence?
Starting with the most common types of red crystals.

The fifth one on my list is Red Goldstone:
Red Goldstone is a popular, man-made sparkling glass infused with copper particles, renowned for its vibrant reddish-brown colour and shimmering, metallic inclusions.
Often used as a stone of confidence, ambition, and vitality.
Red Goldstone Heart Pendant
This beautiful red goldstone heart shaped Crystal Pendant is a symbol of love and elegance.
The platinum-plate pendant, is adorned with a stunning red goldstone gemstone, adding colour and vibrancy, and blends timeless romance with contemporary style.
This heart shaped polished healing crystal has an elegant platinum plated rose bud design on the front.

It is said to be the "Stone of Confidence and Ambition", and it is an uplifting stone, encouraging a positive attitude, motivation and drive.
Placing Red Goldstone in the center of your home will produce a calming feeling and ensure a relaxing environment.
In physical healing it has the same attributes as copper helping soothe conditions of the joints and reducing stomach complaints stemming from anxiety.
Despite what its name implies, there is no gold in Goldstone.
Red Goldstone is associated with the Root (Base) Chakra for grounding and stability, but also the Sacral and Solar Plexus Chakras for motivation, confidence, and drive, stimulating passion and vitality while dispelling anxiety and negativity, encouraging positive energy flow and achievement.
Goldstone is often linked to the Fire signs Sagittarius, Leo, and sometimes Aries, promoting vitality, motivation, and a positive outlook by bringing light into darkness, making it a stone for achieving goals and boosting energy.
