If you've been thinking about having a go at making your own silver jewellery, why not come along to one of our workshops this month?

Whether you're a complete beginner or you've been before and fancy trying something different, there's something for everyone. You'll learn some traditional silversmithing skills and leave with a lovely piece of jewellery that you've made yourself.

All workshops take place in my studio at Lady Heyes, with small groups, plenty of guidance and no experience needed.

Places are limited, so have a look at what's coming up and get yourself booked in.

Some dogs leave more than muddy paw prints behind.

Using an impression of your dog's paw or nose, I can create a unique pendant in solid sterling silver. Every print is different, capturing all those little details that make your dog yours.

It might be a birthday present for someone who absolutely adores their dog, a treat for yourself, or even a present to celebrate your dog's birthday.

It can also be a lovely way to capture a little piece of an older dog, creating something to treasure in the years ahead.

I offer private, one-to-one appointments at my studio in Frodsham, where you can bring your dog along and we can take their impression together. I'll then help you turn that impression into a piece of jewellery, made by you.

Private appointments are £125, with a second person at half price if you'd like to come together.

🎃 **No tricks. Just really good workshops.**

If your idea of a frightening afternoon involves mass-produced jewellery, crowded shops and buying yet another thing you don’t really need, we have a better idea.

Come and make something instead.

At Halton Village Silver, you can spend a few hours at the bench learning proper silversmithing skills and leave wearing something you’ve actually made yourself.

No experience needed. No artistic talent required. And despite the hammers, saws, torches and occasional bit of fire, it’s really not scary at all.

Our workshops are relaxed, friendly and designed for complete beginners, with small groups and plenty of help along the way.

And with Christmas creeping ever closer, you could even make something for someone else.

Although we fully support making it for yourself and telling everyone you tried.

Closed this weekend due to a rather nasty dose of Norovirus. I simply can't get myself up there!

Torch firing enamel is really accessible and can be taken up at home with about £50 worth of equipment rather than buying an expensive kiln when you are jsut starting out.

Its a little bit scary at times though, there is a lot of hot metal about and a steady hand is required.
