With a passion for making, a keen eye for intricate detail and a curiosity for pre-owned items, the work I create focuses on how an object evokes personal comfort for its owner. I question how the design of an object can entice an individual to explore a piece and form a personal attachment to the item. Taking inspiration from everyday objects, I create a range of personal possessions, some of which are wearable and others that are merely companions to our everyday lives.

A closer look at the rainbow scattered stacking rings and the different ways they can be worn...

Creating the rings as individual pieces means that Rebecca can wear the rings in various combinations and also pass each ring down to her three granddaughters in the future. It also gives us the option to add even more rings to the stack further down the line!

How would you wear them? A juicy colourful stack altogether or perhaps individually, partnered with the plain textured bands?

Rainbow scattered stacking rings 🌈💍

I finished this commission for a lovely returning customer last week. Taking her old gold rings and a couple of existing gemstones she had, she asked if I could create a design that would also incorporate her 3 granddaughters birthstones, Aquamarine, Peridot and Moonstone, with the thought of passing a ring down to each of them in the future.

The 9ct yellow gold ring stack includes two plain organic bands and three organic rings with pebble settings featuring an Amethyst and Aquamarine, synthetic Ruby and Peridot, Sapphire and Moonstone.

It's such a pleasure knowing these rings will be enjoyed and treasured by several people and passed down through the family!

Organic textures continue to be really popular! I'm currently on the bench making a set of organic stone set stacking rings, so whilst they're being made I thought I would share a silver band that I recently altered for a customer. The ring had originally been a plain court shaped band but my customer wanted something much more organic and contemporary and this was the result!

Last week I finished these very special diamond earrings for an 18th birthday gift.

Claire came to me with her old engagement ring which had worn down and lost a couple of diamonds over the years. She wanted to remodel the diamonds into a pair of earrings for her daughter's 18th birthday. We went for a modern but timeless bar style stud earring setting the 8 existing diamonds into 9ct yellow gold ✨

With ArtisanMade just 5 days away I thought I would share some more pieces from my collection that I will be showcasing, so next up is...

The Paperclip Earring ✨

I initially created these earrings as a one off pair for my bestie but after lots of compliments I decided to add them to my permanent collection and they have been a bestseller ever since! This simple but unique earring design gives a quirky look to any outfit. Available in a large and smaller size to suit everyone, and for those wanting to add a little sparkle I also do a gemstone version!

If you are a gallery or buyer looking to stock new creatives there is still time to register and visit ArtisanMadeUK this weekend to see all the wonderful work in person.

"Holding it all together" - The silver safety pin necklace.

A statement piece from my core collection, this necklace is part of my 'Attach' range. Each link is made by hand in sterling silver, manipulating the wire to resemble the shape of a safety pin, linked through one another to create a unique chain and soldered together. The clasp is created by keeping one safety pin unsoldered, this one handmade from brass wire to easily identify the catch and add a subtle feature into the necklace through the contrast in the colour of the mixed metals.

Available to buy through my current stockists, my Etsy shop or DM for more information and to order direct.

This year I'll be taking part in my first ever trade show 'Artisan Made UK' which will be taking place on the 7th & 8th March in Skipton, North Yorkshire.
I've been lucky enough to showcase my work at a range of amazing galleries and stockists over the years including Gold Lark Jewellery (Formerly Kath Libbert Jewellery), Leeds Craft & Design Centre, Yorkshire Sculpture Park shop, Sunny Bank Mills, Hub Sleaford, Studio Vault, Millennium Gallery Sheffield, MAKE Southwest and Debbie Bryan. But this year I want my work to reach even more of you and I would love to add lots more stockists to that list.

I will be showcasing my flagship collection of contemporary jewellery and personal possessions which explores familiar everyday objects that often go unnoticed, which I use as inspiration to create unique wearable pieces.

You can register as a trade buyer via the Artisan Made website where you can see the array of wonderful handmade creatives who will also be showing their collections.
