Some rings are simply meant to find their owner. 🤍

Jo and Courtney have been married for 25 years, and this October they’ll be travelling to Las Vegas to renew their vows.

They came to SOZO SILVER looking for rings to mark the occasion.

His ring was crafted from a vintage butter knife and needed quite the resize to fit his thumb (I don’t often make a ring in a Z+6!).

She was searching for something that felt like its perfect partner.

I resized another ring for her, but once she’d tried it on, it just wasn’t the one.

Then something unexpected happened.

As she looked through the others, I glanced down at the ring I’d been wearing on my own little finger for almost two years.

Before I’d even had time to think, I’d slipped it off and asked if she’d like to try it on instead.

It just felt right.

I’d loved wearing it, but for a while I’d had this feeling that it wasn’t really mine. I’d only been thinking about replacing it the day before.

As I resized it for her, the band opened back up and more of the beautiful vintage spoon pattern was revealed. It looked exactly as it was meant to—its character came back to life.

When she tried it on, it sat perfectly alongside his ring.

Then I noticed something I’d completely missed.

I turned both rings over.

They carried the very same maker’s mark.

That’s when I knew it wasn’t just that they looked right together—they’d been made by the same silversmith.

It had never really been my ring.

It had simply been waiting for her.

Sometimes jewellery finds the person it was always waiting for.

Thank you both for letting me play a small part in such a special celebration. Wishing you the most beautiful vow renewal this October, and many more happy years together. 🫶🏾

We can officially confirm this isn’t a one-off… 🎶🐩

Nova first started singing along to live music when she was just 16 weeks old. I secretly hoped it wasn’t a one-off and that she’d do it again.

This week .fringe.sessions , she joined in not once, but twice more. It honestly melts my heart every time. ❤️

Maybe this is just her way of giving her seal of approval.
