This is what’s special about Izabella Petrut who is teaching the haptic 3D digital modelling classes in Vienna.
In a workshop in Vienna in 2017 she took to the haptic 3D digital modelling programme with natural ease, enthusiasm and joy. The programme so suited her and the way she thought and worked. Her work was super and we awarded her our haptic 3D modelling software programme and the haptic device.
She now wants to share with you the mind-changing experience that 3D digital touch and feel bring to 3D modelling. She wants to share the special unexpected benefits this method of 3D digital modelling brings to the way we can flourish as applied artists.
This last July Izabella came to Edinburgh for a masterclass and refresher session prior to organising and running haptic 3D digital modelling classes in Vienna.
Izabella and her classes are fully endorsed and supported by Anarkik3D and AnarkikCreations. We are thrilled, after the trials and tribulations of Covid and Brexit, that she is providing artists and designers in Europe with the opportunity to learn this way of 3D modelling as Anarkik3DDesign with haptics is designed for how we work as artists. It is so different to CAD. It is for artists not industrial designers. We think more freely and intuitively about forms, spaces, context, juxtapositions. We embrace phenomena such as serendipity which is a default! How amazing is that. And 3D haptics as force feedback is WOW and has to be physically experienced to grasp how fundamental touch and feel is for how we interact with our work. Anarkik3DDesign does touch and feel in digital.

World Bee Day and Supporting Bees.
Monday 20th May was World Bee Day and is celebrated on this day, May 20th, each year. It is all about highlighting the critical role pollinators play in not just essential agriculture but also for biodiversity. This special day is about raising awareness of their absolute importance, about looking after bees, their fellow creatures, their different habitats and the global need to take action to protect pollinators from multiple threats such as habitat loss, pesticides, and climate change.
As World Bee Day encourages us all to take steps to support bee populations and ensure their survival for the benefit of our planet and future generations, my blog post here http://bit.ly/3Kdh2r2 has a list of what we can do. It also has a link to the 3D printed Bee pin that I designed and made. She has a small number in stock which can be purchased, with £5 going to a relevant charity.

Ann Marie is working on updating the Anarkik Creations website. She has expanded the blog post and 'about us' into 3 sections each, and added a couple new categories into the 'Shop' area. As having a responsible practice is important for many, both makers and their customers, she will add information into descriptions
