Today’s class of three children and two adults created these beautiful silver spinner rings!
They experimented with a variety of hammers and stamps to add patterns to both the inside and outside of their rings. After a well-earned Hobnob break, they crafted wavy spinning bands, which were added to the fluted rings and polished to a brilliant finish!

Yesterday's students turned plain silver wire into gorgeous wavy, textured, twisted and bejewelled rings! 💍

I’ve spent the weekend teaching ring-making workshops—starting with a lovely private class for four friends yesterday, followed by three pairs diving into the process today.

One of my favourite parts is watching how different each piece turns out. Give people a range of tools and texturing options, and no two rings are ever the same. Some go bold and experimental, others keep it subtle and refined—and every approach works in its own way.

It’s such a joy to see ideas take shape from start to finish, especially for those trying it for the first time.

Huge well done to everyone who took part this weekend—you all created something unique, and it was a pleasure to guide you through it 👏

Diane, Jeanette and Melanie joined me yesterday for a private stone-setting workshop, and just look at their stunning creations!

They each learned how to craft a bezel setting for their chosen stone and transform it into a one-of-a-kind piece of jewellery using sterling silver wire and sheet. By the end of the session, their pieces were polished and ready to take home and wear 🙌

We had a lovely time making bangles yesterday! Some of my students were celebrating significant birthdays so they personalized a silver one to mark the milestone!
Well done everyone, your copper and silver hammered, twisted, wavy and textured bangles are beautiful! 👏👌

During the session, participants will design and create their own unique silver spinner ring, learning basic jewellery-making techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment. No prior experience is needed—just bring your creativity!

After a recent bereavement, I’ve been a little distracted and haven’t had the chance to properly showcase my students’ amazing designs.
