Hi y'all!

As you can see from the lack of activities, I'm taking some time away from my business. I've had some ups and some terrible downs over the past few months, and found it difficult to give Something Of The Unusual the attention it deserves. I am so grateful for my amazing customers who have been so understanding, however my store is now on hold and won't be taking any custom orders for the time being.

Is everyone having a lovely afternoon despite the rain?

I recently have become a little hooked on Orla Kiely, and it was one of her eye-catching designs which inspired this pendant. It consists of garnet, citrine and smokey quartz briolettes, surrounded in sterling silver.

I was about to list my Faceted Aquamarine & Labradorite Wire Wrap Cuff Bracelet on Etsy when I realised it doesn't fit in the presentation box - argh! Methinks will have to order the larger size tomorrow. I love Pinterest... Actually I am a little obsessed with it. If anyone has ever ventured on to my boards you'll know it's mainly full of interior images or kiddie ideas, probably not very interesting to anyone else!
