Exciting times ahead for Peerie Pyot, as I have set up my shelf space at the new Fusion Home Garden Crafts shop in Newton Stewart.

The shop - refurbished by the formidable, multi-talented Shona - looks great. A brilliant community crafter space and floral haven, jam-packed with local crafts.

Please excuse my face. I am genuinely happy, but got distracted (squirrel!!) just as Alistair took the picture...

Anyway, the Christmas Fair at Dumfries High School was a delight, as always. The pupils who helped out were a credit to their school, the choir was delightful, and the atmosphere was festive and fun. I love having a stall here.

The fibromyalgia fatigue afterwards did result in a seizure, and I slept for the entire day on Friday, but I just have to accept this is my new reality and not let it stop me from doing the things I enjoy.

Saturday was a busy day, too, with a stall at St.George's Church Christmas Fair. Again, I love doing a stall at this event, because it really has a gorgeous Christmassy vibe. And some rather good baking treats, too! Unfortunately, I was delayed by another seizure in the morning, which discombobulated me. But, a coffee, a bacon buttie, and a sit down definitely helped.

Today is a day of sleeping and recovery. The cat has also decided to join me, so I'm embracing his logic... zzzzzzzz.

My Christmas fair season kicks off this week with a stall at Dumfries High School on Thursday night.

I will have a lot of new stock, some new products, and, of course, a wee Christmas-themed £1 lucky dip for the kids. Product prices range from £2 to £15, with special multi-buy deals available, too.

Come and see my range of unique crafts and gifts, which are all handmade by me, using reclaimed pre-loved jewellery beads.

I know I really oughtn't mention Christmas until after Halloween at the very earliest, but I'm getting ridiculously excited for my favourite time of the year!

Once the Bonfire Night sparklers have fizzled out, it neans I can embark on my annual trek from the silence and comfort of my craft space in order to socialise, feel festive, and do some carefully selected craft fairs.

For those who don't know, I have a smorgasbord of chronic, painful, autoimmune conditions, so I try to focus on only doing craft fairs that bring me joy and fulfillment. This way, I can do the crafting I love, but at a pace that minimises burn out.

Which basically means I focus on a few Christmas Craft Fairs, because nothing says joy and fulfillment better than dressing up in sparkly clothes (and maybe some elf ears), while sipping delightfully indulgent hot chocolate from a local café, and chatting to folks in a church hall surrounded by fellow crafters. I love it!

And, because I only attend a few selected craft fairs, it also means I can offer exclusive prices and bundle deals that are only available directly at my stall!

I can't wait to see folks soon! Watch out for my Christmas fair dates to be announced in the next few days...
