We're so excited to be trading here tomorrow, and what a day it's going to be....

’Twas the night before festivities, and all through the streets,
A buzz of excitement ran bright at our feet.
Sky blue footie bunting waiting, for our champions, so sweet.
Ready for morning to brighten the street.

Market stalls waited, not yet in their place,
They’d roll in at sunrise and brighten the space.
With crafts, cakes and music soon filling the way,
Katie O bringing colour to festival day.

Children tucked up, fast asleep,
Tomorrow held memories they longed for to keep.
They dreamed of festivities, bright flags in the air,
And Cov City’s football triumph to share.

The performance and wellness areas, quiet tonight,
Will rise with the morning and soon burst to life.
The businesses lay calm in the deep of the night,
Holding their breath for the morning’s delight.

The Green Man stands watch in the moon’s silver gleam,
A keeper of Earlsdon, of laughter and dream.
And out in the quiet, beneath star-specked skies,
The heart of the community opens its eyes.

For festivals flourish where communities belong,
In shared stories, Morris dance and song.
With thanks to the volunteers, sponsors as well,
Whose kindness helps Earlsdon and Coventry shine so well.

So rest now, dear Coventry, the morning is near,
A day full of welcome, footie joy and good cheer.
We’ll meet in the streets where the bright banners fly,
Hope to see you, as the day passes by….

Earlsdon Festival and football celebrations…

Earlsdon is set to come alive on 4th May!

With the Earlsdon Festival bringing the community together, along with football celebrations happening on the same day, it’s shaping up to be an exciting and busy occasion for everyone.

We’re really looking forward to seeing the area buzzing with activity, but we’re also making sure that safety is a top priority. Plans are being carefully considered so everyone can enjoy the day in a safe and welcoming environment.
