The nostalgic collection coming soon to the Etsy shop in time for Spring. I’ve used wire wrapped glass beads and semi- precious stones, Murano glass, baroque pearls, sterling silver brushed beads, mother of pearl carved pendants, and glass seed and baguette beads. Phew, that’s a mouthful! 😂😂

“You can be the moon and still be jealous of the stars.” - Garry Allan

Welcome to my new adventure. I’m Holly and this is my mid life crisis project. A few years ago after reaching a milestone age it occurred to me that it had been years since I learnt something new. So I packed myself and my cobwebbed brain off to our local Adult Learning program where for two years I’ve had the privilege of being tutored in silversmithing and jewellery design.

My plan was to try it for one course. Two years later and I’m still going.

So why the Jealous Moon? I’m inspired by nature in particular celestial bodies; sun, moon and stars. I love the idea that the moon who has it all, covets the beauty of the stars.

In a universe that is endless it’s those tiny pinpoints of light, those guiding stars that bring the whole thing together, that have guided many a lost wanderer, inspired poetry and burnt bright in the darkest of nights.
