I have always liked anything macabre. I read my first Stephen King book at 11 years old (Pet Semetery, in case you wondered, followed swiftly by Misery, anyway I'm distracted...) and I saw my first horror film, Dawn of the dead, even earlier at around 8 years

old. So anything creepy has always interested me. I first started making gothic jewellery in 2009, (then had a brief sideline in fairy doors, but all the pink and niceness of it all was just too much, so we wont dwell on that) and then one day I found an old porcelain doll. I altered her and that was the beginnings of the doll side of things. I really enjoy working on the dolls. I spent a loooong time perfecting the crackled finish. A lot of research, disasters and swearing went into getting that just right! I love that people (seem) to like the dolls, and give them nice new homes! No they are not haunted. Yes they have probably been saved from landfill (yay!)
No I don't live in a black gothic mansion (sadly). I live in Berkshire, England, with my husband and 2 children. I work from my home and garden studio surrounded by the dolls, or creeps as I like to affectionately call them. If you follow my page you'll know that already. (If you don't then you should! Once an order is placed, the buyer will be contacted to arrange payment, once payment is made the buyer will be informed as to when their item will be dispatched. Items will be dispatched within 1 week, and will usually take 3-4 working days to arrive. Postage and packaging will be stated on the listing prior to payment . Payment accepted by paypal only, or cash on collection for local buyers. Items must be paid for before they will be dispatched. If an item is to be returned as it is unwanted, the buyer should contact the page to arrange the return, it must be returned within 14 days. the buyer is responsible for the cost of return postage with proof of posting.
