“I’m starting my diploma”

Yesterday my diploma materials for Term One arrived — and it still doesn’t quite feel real.

This journey didn’t start here.

It started with my first courses, learning the fundamentals, making pieces at home, and slowly realising this was something I wanted to take seriously.

Since then, that spark has grown into something much bigger — from early pieces at the bench, to my first international order going all the way to Australia, to now committing to a full year of structured training.

Opening these materials feels like a line in the sand.

This isn’t just practice anymore — it’s a deliberate step towards becoming a professional jeweller.

Grateful for where it started. Focused on where it’s going.
