THE WORK

Adam’s work sets out to demonstrate the clinical and precise advantages made achievable by using modern technology within jewellery design. Simple geometric shapes are transformed through tessellation and repetition to create tactile precious objects. Although the effective use of technology is evident in Adam’s work, he maintains the important connection to traditional techniques of jewellery design by using stone setting in much of his work. THE INSPIRATION

Inspiration is taken from a variety of geometric forms ranging from honeycomb structures, lattice like architecture and faceted gemstones, all of which show a clear reflection in the finished pieces. With many of Adam’s designs consisting of harsh angles and defined edges, these forms and patterns are then refined with subtle curves and a high quality finish.

Think resizing a half eternity ring is just a case of making it bigger or smaller? Not quite. 👀

Every resize starts with a full assessment at the bench. We check every stone, inspect the setting, and carefully resize the plain section of the shank to protect the integrity of the ring.

Once resized, the ring is reshaped, polished, and every stone is checked again to make sure it’s secure before it leaves the workshop.

A simple adjustment on the outside, backed by years of craftsmanship behind the scenes. ✨

It might shock you to hear that some jobs simply p*** us off.

This client came to us after purchasing a mass-produced piece abroad that was already falling apart. What looked like a straightforward remake quickly turned into one of those jobs that tests your patience. Tiny details that wouldn’t sit right. Parts remade more than once. Adjustments on adjustments.

So we rebuilt it properly, stronger, heavier & built to last.

Remade in 18ct white gold with diamond & sapphire, with the stones reset in a far more secure setting.

This is why jewellery means so much more than something beautiful.

Vanessa came to see us on her birthday carrying a story of love, heartbreak, resilience, & memories that deserved to live on.

After losing her husband in 1998 at just 38 years old following a battle with testicular cancer, she was left raising two young children alone. Over the years, she also endured the loss of both her parents & her sister.

Through all of life’s heartbreak, one piece remained deeply precious, her ring. A symbol of her soulmate, their love, & the happiest moments they shared together.

Then one day, it was gone.

At AJM, we understand jewellery isn’t “just jewellery.” It carries stories. People. Memories. Love.

Helping Vanessa recreate something so meaningful was a true privilege, & a reminder that the most valuable pieces are never measured by carats alone ✨

Made as a twin set, these Gemini bangles were created to mirror one another, same but different. They are connected by craftsmanship, meaning, and the story behind them.

From a single strip of metal to two finished pieces, every stage was completed entirely by hand at the bench: shaped, soldered, formed, polished, and refined with care.
