Wishing Rob ( Robert Foster) a very happy 50th birthday for tomorrow. Hope you like the cake ... It was hard for me to make a cake for a West Ham fan when I'm Spurs fan ... But it could have been worse, you could have supported Arsenal!!! Lol

I made this 3 tier wedding cake for Natalie and Sonya, two very special friends who got married in Brighton on Saturday. I also made some fondant topped cupcakes for them. We had a fabulous day celebrating with their family/friends. Many congratulations to the new Mrs & Mrs Ascher-Heard!!

Morning everyone!!

It is with great sadness that I have to announce that VickyBakes will cease trading at the end of this month. This is due to long term health issues. I shall not be accepting orders after this time. The page will continue to be used to display personal bakes that I may do.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my lovely customers who have ordered cakes from me. Thank you for all your support, it's meant so much that I have been trusted to make your cakes, and even nicer to have received your lovely reviews of my work.

On a personal note I would also like to thank my fiancé Paul for his continued emotional support, as well his IT skills in getting VickyBakes off the ground!! You mean the world to me.

Just making another batch of baby cupcakes, plus extra cakes for Paul to take to work for his colleagues. They'll enjoy a sugar rush!

Love the smell of baking in the house. Last night I made a spicy fruit loaf which, apart from slightly dipping in the middle, was very nice.

I've had some real fun making these for a baby shower. Making tiny feet, eyes, bonnets and nappies were a bit time consuming as I'd not done them before, but I'm really pleased with how they've turned out.
18 baby cakes went to a baby shower this afternoon, and the remaining have been split and given as gifts to some new and pending parents!

What do you think guys? Cute eh!

Well today I gave my new wrist a good work out with some baking and decorating. It was good and fun to be back in the game!! I will post some pictures tomorrow once the recipient has received them. I think you'll like them!
