Beautiful Blooms and Delightful Bits

After entering the world of motherhood I decided that my career as an event designer needed to change to suit my new ‘at home’ lifestyle. So let’s start with the ‘Blooms’

I began dabbling with flowers (the fresh kind) over 8 years ago and my new found love lead me to begin my own event design and decor company (Brocade Events). I started looking into the use

of artificial flowers as part of my event designs and managed to source the most realistic silk blooms – I was truly amazed by how life-like they were. My experience arranging fresh blooms, allows me to create realistic silk floral arrangements – natural in form and composition. Well there are just so many darn pretty things out there and I love nothing more than pairing the perfect blooms with darling details such as lace, pearls, ribbon and the occasional bling!
