It’s day 2 on Just a Card indie week and the prompt today is to pick an image and share what it means to you. So I’ve chosen this pic of my hand painted Portrait Pendant. Yes, I paint these by hand. I went through various test versions to get to this point and if you check out my new blog at TheCluttery.com you can learn how it did it. But most importantly this image reminds me that although some people don’t get my work, or don’t like costume jewellery, I know that I put a lot of effort into designing, honing and creating my work. This piece represents the kind of creative freedom I was looking for when I left my office job. I made it for me.
