I've always loved Haematite and these were no exception. I love how they can be cut into so many shapes. There are two versions of cubes here which have been dyed in rainbow colours and a frosted silver. The others are a cross shape dyed in this stunning glossy blue.

Keep a look out to see what happens to these πŸ˜πŸ’–

Mookite from Australia is so captivating. It's completely natural, so all those colours are as they come out of the ground. I have some smaller versions of these flowers, so thinking I might have to make some necklace and earring sets. It's always been one of my favourites.

I might have bought lots of gemstones for Justina Jewellery yesterday, but I also bought some beautiful gems for myself.

I just had to have these to make a pair of earrings.

They are Chrysocolla with Malachite and remind me of the ocean (unfortunately not one I've been to πŸ˜‚).

These were from a lovely gemologist called Sally Spencer.

Another purchase today from Ilona Biggins. She always has so many fabulous gemstone strands and these were no exception. These are rainbow coated haematite and carved into these fabulous sea inspired shapes.
I can't wait to make something special with these πŸ’•

Not a great picture but here are a couple of purchases from today's Rock n Gem show. I couldn't resist these. Mookite always talks to me but this Flourite definitely called out to me and it's beautiful.

I nearly rang you Jill Houghton to see if you wanted any.

Tomorrow is Gem Fair day at the Harrogate showground. I love going and purchasing just a few (honestly, no I really mean it) lovely gemstones for my jewellery. There are other beads too, such as glass and clay. Hopefully I might get my mojo back again 😁

What would you like to see in one of my designs? Any ideas? πŸ’‘

Here's a tiny example of some lovely beads πŸ’–

I decided to stop selling my jewellery on Etsy because I saw a documentary about selling knives. They were not checking ages. It wasn't just that though, they decided to start removing Amber jewellery without explanation and without refunding the charge they make for posting on their site.

I've just watched the late news and they were talking about the demise of Cuban snails. They mentioned the sale of them on, guess where, Etsy. I did a search and found this. I haven't clicked on it but these are the shells of those snails.

I can't sell anything Amber necklace but they can sell dangerous knives and seriously endangered snails. Something wrong there πŸ€”
